1641 Irish Rebellion

At the height of the Irish Rebellion, eldest Boyle daughter, Alice Barry, countess Barrymore wrote to her friend Sir Ralph Verney MP, describing conditions at her Castlelyons home, and calling for urgent help to be sent to save Ireland.
