Content

Identifying and applying for appropriate funding for your research can feel like a labyrinthine task. At times, it’s difficult to know where, or even when, to start -either in general, or with specific funders, schemes, requirements, and deadlines in mind. But winning research funding is often a central part of a successful academic career, affording you both greater professional security and the ability to drive your research interests on to the next level.

This information session seeks to demystify national and international funding opportunities for researchers across all faculties. It will showcase general information relevant to all forms of funding, showcase suitable opportunities and how to find them, and provide an introduction to research project planning and development.

In addition to this, we will enrich the session by providing information on future opportunities for workshops on grant writing with Research Development colleagues and academic peers.

For more information on the support provided by the Research Development team, visit the Research and Enterprise intranet.
