The 2024 Technician Awards were held on the afternoon of Thursday 23rd May, at the 2024 Technician Showcase.
On Thursday 23rd May 2024 over 200 people, including Queen's technicians, professional support staff and academic staff, attended the 3rd Queen's Technician Showcase.

Many congratulations to Mr Christopher Preshaw, Chief Technician in the School of Biological Sciences, who has been awarded a BEM in the 2021 New Year’s Civil Honours list in recognition for services to higher education.
We are delighted to hear that Aine has been shortlisted for this recent addition to the Times Higher Education Award. Aine is a technician in the School of Pharmacy contributing to education and research within the School.

Throughout the pandemic technical from across the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences have supported the QUB Covid-19 response by helping to produce buffer solution on campus which is vital for Covid-19 testing facilities in Northern Ireland.
