Care Providers

This study aims to collaboratively work with parents and care providers in Northern Ireland to adapt support interventions for parents who experience the death of a baby during pregnancy or shortly after birth.

We would love to speak to you if:

  • You are a Care Provider (i.e. nurse, midwife, maternity support worker, doctor, hospital chaplain, charity worker) whose scope of practice involves interaction with parents who experience pregnancy loss
  • You are working in Northern Ireland

What is involved?

If you decide to take part you will be invited to join a focus group with other care providers where you can share any reflections on your experience of providing support to parents. You will be presented three interventions and will be asked your opinion on them.

Our goal: Improve mental health outcomes

We aim to develop detailed plans for facilitating the successful adaptation, evaluation and implementation of the interventions in an Northern Ireland context.
